According to Brian Malow, when he was ten years old, he asked his mother, “Why is the sky blue?”

“And I’ll never forget her answer:  ‘Because I said so!’ ”

Not entirely satisfied with that reply, Brian decided to delve deeper.  Turning to Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke –  best-known as science-fiction writers - Brian soon found they both wrote non-fiction, as well. And he quickly discovered that the actual science was even more exciting than the fiction!

“They were great explainers – with so much personality,” says Brian. “They made it easy to understand and enjoy science.”

Flash-forward: Now an accomplished stand-up comic whose career has spanned more than a decade to include performances on CBS, A&E, TechTV, and the Discovery Channel, Brian turns his sharp wit upon his first love: the world of science.

Brian entertains and ignites interest in science with hysterical, thought-provoking science comedy routines about the environment, insects and viruses, evolution and extinction, the speed of light, gravity, cell phones, computers...  everything under the Sun...  and even the Sun itself!
